On the way to his sünnet (circumcision), a Turkish boy stops to photograph his family in the historic Sultanahmet district.  Turkish boys are normally circumcised between childhood and adolescence, and the event is cause for great celebration as a ritual passage into manhood.  Those circumcised are feted, feasted and treated as "Kings for Day".
